Mineral County entered their tilt with Lee Vining on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Tigers 14-3. The result was nothing new for the Serpents, who have now won four matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Mineral County pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Lee Vining, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mineral County will take on Virginia City at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Muckers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.87 runs per game on average), something the Serpents will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lee Vining, they will challenge Trona at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tornadoes have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
