After a string of four wins, Paw Paw's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 59-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Otsego Bulldogs. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Red Wolves came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 40th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 373rd).

Paw Paw's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Otsego, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paw Paw has already played their next contest (against Hackett Catholic Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Otsego has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Vicksburg.
