Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Wednesday. Deer Park put the hurt on Finneytown with a sharp 15-2 win. The victory continues a trend for Deer Park in their matchups with Finneytown: they've now won four in a row.

Reagan Osborne made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Osborne was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Evie Wilson, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Jaelynn Richmond was another key player, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.

Deer Park kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 4-2 when they post 11 or more hits.

Deer Park's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Finneytown, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
