Basketball Recap: Lone Grove Falls Short of Tuttle in the Playoffs

Lone Grove and Tuttle squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Lone Grove had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 42-41 to the Tuttle Tigers. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lone Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Tuttle, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Lone Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tuttle, they will take on Purcell at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Purcell will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Tuttle surely won't give up without a fight.
