Bulkeley came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 20-2 to the Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy Phoenix. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Yeliah Figueroa was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Bulkeley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.
