Recap: Fairfax Lions vs. Lake Braddock Bruins
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Fairfax Lions can now relate to. They took a hard 39-20 fall against the Bruins on Saturday. Fairfax's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Among those leading the charge was JT Bordeaux, who rushed for 185 yards and two touchdowns. Zachary Hibner also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Fairfax's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Lake Braddock, they have yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 11-2 record.
Fairfax does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lake Braddock will face off against Highland Springs at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Highland Springs' defense has only allowed 10.9 points per game this season, so Lake Braddock's offense will have their work cut out for Lake Braddock.
