Soccer Recap: Los Angeles CES Comes Up Short

Los Angeles CES lost against Venice back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Los Angeles CES Unicorns came up short against the Venice Gondoliers, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, the Unicorns can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 763rd, while the Gondoliers are ranked 149th).

Los Angeles CES now has a losing record at 2-3-3. As for Venice, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

When Los Angeles CES and Venice next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Los Angeles CES will try to stop Palisades' three-game winning streak when the meet at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Similarly, Venice will challenge New West Charter and their five-game winning streak at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
