Volleyball Recap: Southeast Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Southeast lost against LaBrae back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pirates lost 3-0 to the Vikings.

Southeast took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17, 25-20.

Leila Evans paced Southeast's offense, picking up 15 kills. Evans got some help from Neena Truex and her 23 assists. Truex was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Southeast's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for LaBrae, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-4.

Southeast wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Liberty on the 7th. As for LaBrae, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Crestview on the 7th.
