East Valley Athletes for Christ put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Heritage Academy Heroes by a score of 54-45. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Heroes, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Valley Athletes for Christ to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ajay Hoover, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Sorensen, who earned nine points and three steals.

East Valley Athletes for Christ's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Heritage Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

East Valley Athletes for Christ will challenge Eduprize at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Eduprize knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully East Valley Athletes for Christ likes a good challenge. As for Heritage Academy, they will square off against BASIS - Chandler at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
