Beckman had lost three straight headed into Saturday's contest, but Marina Babayani didn't let it get to four. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 25-0 margin over the Vasquez Mustangs on Saturday thanks in part to Babayani, who threw for 162 yards and four TDs while completing 73.9% of her passes, and also rushed for 55 yards and one score. She has become a key player for Beckman: the team is undefeated when she posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise.

Beckman's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Vasquez, they dropped their record down to 5-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Beckman and Vasquez will both be playing Portola the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will head out to face the Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Patriots will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
