Basketball Game Preview: Millersport Lakers vs. Delaware Christian Eagles

The Millersport Lakers will venture away from home to face off against the Delaware Christian Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Saturday, Millersport came up short against Granville Christian Academy and fell 57-50.

Meanwhile, Delaware Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 43-39 to Tree of Life Christian. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now lost three in a row.

Millersport has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Delaware Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.

Millersport didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Delaware Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 53-49 victory.
