Soccer Recap: Crawfordsville Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Crawfordsville had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand the Western Boone Stars a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday. The score was close at halftime, but Crawfordsville pulled away in the second half with two goals.

They hit Western Boone with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Dario Huesca, David Estrada, and Joseph Padron.

Crawfordsville has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Cascade on the 21st. As for Western Boone, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Frankfort on the 21st.
