Volleyball Game Preview: Lyons Lions vs. Hinsdale Central Red Devils

The Lyons Lions are taking a road trip to challenge the Hinsdale Central Red Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lyons will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Monday, Lyons was able to grind out a solid victory over Lockport, taking the game 2-0.

Lyons easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Hinsdale Central waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Warriors.

While Hinsdale Central won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18.

Lyons pushed their record up to 24-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Hinsdale Central, their win bumped their record up to 10-22.

Lyons beat Hinsdale Central 2-0 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
