Baseball Recap: Canton Takes a Loss

After soaring to 16 runs the game before, Canton was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They fell 5-1 to the Greenville Hornets. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost six in a row.

Canton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elijah Kiner, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Kiner is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games he's played.

Canton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Greenville, their record now sits at 6-9.
