Baseball Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

After flying high against Montbello last Saturday, Skyline came back down to earth. The Falcons fell just short of the Horizon Hawks by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

Skyline saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matt Lanier, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Horizon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Skyline will challenge Centaurus at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Horizon, they will take on Mountain Range at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games the Mustangs have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
