Volleyball Recap: Appleton West Wins Going Away Against Hortonville

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Neenah, Appleton West was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Hortonville Polar Bears 3-0. The victory was some much needed relief for the Terrors as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Appleton West took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12, 25-15.

The win got Appleton West back to even at 3-3.

Appleton West will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Kimberly at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Hortonville, they will face off against Union Grove at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
