Alpharetta had already won 41 in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it 42 on Saturday. They came out on top against the Sequoyah Chiefs by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Alpharetta not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Sequoyah between 18 and 19 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18.

Alpharetta's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Susie Dai, who had nine assists and five aces. Kailey Leonard was another key player, getting nine digs and two assists.

Alpharetta's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Sequoyah, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Alpharetta has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Cartersville on the 9th. As for Sequoyah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Lambert on the 14th.
