Soccer Recap: Coast Union Takes a Loss

If Coast Union was riding high fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Dunn last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Coast Union Broncos fell just short of the Villanova Prep Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Dayami Ramirez wasn't going to let Villanova Prep walk away unscathed as she scored both of Coast Union's goals, bringing her season total up to five goals.

Coast Union's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1-1 and their overall record down to 4-3-2. As for Villanova Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coast Union will venture away from home to square off against Beacon Hill at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Villanova Prep, they will square off against Santa Clara at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
