St. Thomas More entered their tilt with Rantoul on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0. The Sabers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

St. Thomas More never let Rantoul on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 26-24.

Cassidy Monahan paced St. Thomas More's offense, picking up five kills. Monahan got some help from Julianne Kerr and her eight assists. Quinn Miller controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

St. Thomas More's victory bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Rantoul, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-14.

St. Thomas More didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Prairie Central on the 16th. As for Rantoul, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against St. Joseph-Ogden on the 16th.
