Football Recap: Granada's Undefeated Season over After Four Games + How To Watch

If Granada was riding high fresh off their 61-24 takedown of Cheraw last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats took a hard 44-27 fall against the Eads Eagles on Friday. Despite 187 more yards than the Eagles, the Bobcats couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

When it comes to explaining why Granada lost, don't look at Sebastian Pizarro. Despite the final result, he rushed for 267 yards and three TDs on only 13 carries. Pizarro really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.

Karsten Buller had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 116 yards and a pair of scores on only 14 carries for Eads. Buller also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing one fumble and making 17 total tackles in addition to snagging an interception. Anthony Paez was in the mix too, providing Eads with two touchdowns.

Having lost for the first time this season, Granada fell to 3-1. As for Eads, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Granada will host Wiley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
