Recap: Trinity Trojans vs. Boswell Pioneers
The Trinity Trojans suffered their biggest loss since November 9, 2023 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 67-27 defeat at the hands of Boswell. Trinity has not had much luck with Boswell recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Boswell's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Salena Carrasco led the charge by scoring 16 points along with five assists and five steals. Carrasco has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Sydney Durrah was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with nine rebounds and five assists.
Trinity dropped their record down to 14-13 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Boswell, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 22 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 27-5 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Paschal the next time they take the court. Boswell will host Paschal at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Trinity will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
