Baseball Recap: Hanover-Horton Takes a Loss

Hanover-Horton's last matchup with Lumen Christi Catholic could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Saturday. The Comets lost 17-4 to the Titans. The Comets haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Hanover-Horton's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Lumen Christi Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hanover-Horton will square off against Jonesville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lumen Christi Catholic, they will host Divine Child at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Titans 3, the Falcons 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
