Metrolina Christian Academy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They put the hurt on the Concord Academy Eagles with a sharp 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 17 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Case Gibbs tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 14 over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March.

On the hitting side, Abram Hargett was incredible, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.

Metrolina Christian Academy's victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Concord Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
