Volleyball Recap: Stuart Hall Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Stuart Hall can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Making Waves Academy Marlins on Tuesday. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Marlins recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Stuart Hall started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-22.

Diego Martinez was nothing short of spectacular for Making Waves Academy: he had 24 digs. Those 24 digs gave Martinez a new career-high.

Stuart Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Making Waves Academy, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-10.

Stuart Hall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Making Waves Academy, they will welcome Emerald at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
