Baseball Recap: Centralia Finds Home Field Redemption Against Hallsville

There's no place like home for Centralia, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against the Hallsville Indians by a score of 12-7 on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Anthony Ford made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Ford was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Centralia got a massive performance out of Henry Bohlmeyer, who went 4-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those four hits gave Bohlmeyer a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Kendrick, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Centralia's victory bumped their record up to 17-12. As for Hallsville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-22.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centralia will host New Bloomfield at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hallsville, they will be playing at home against Blair Oaks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
