Basketball Recap: Colbert Comes Up Short

Colbert was the 45-39 winner over Coalgate when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Colbert Leopards took a 35-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coalgate Wildcats. The Leopards have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Colbert's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Coalgate, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colbert will host Bennington at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Colbert is facing Bennington at the right time seeing as Bennington is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Coalgate, they will welcome Silo at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
