Soccer Recap: DeKalb Takes a Loss

DeKalb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the Metea Valley Mustangs. While losing is never fun, DeKalb can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while Metea Valley are ranked 15th).

DeKalb's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Metea Valley, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-4.

DeKalb has already played their next game (against Waubonsie Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Metea Valley, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Hinsdale Central on the 15th.
