Basketball Recap: Moss Point Takes a Loss

Moss Point extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to four on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-3. They took a blow against the West Harrison Hurricanes, falling 65-25. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-17.

As for West Harrison, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

West Harrison's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kameron Bolden led the charge by going 7-for-13 to rack up 18 points and three steals. Logan Robinson was another key player, shooting 44% from the field en route to 16 points and four steals.

Moss Point wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 49-26 loss against Harrison Central on the 15th. As for West Harrison, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-39 win against Petal on the 13th.
