Burroughs won the last time they faced Taft and things went their way on Friday too. The Burros came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0.

Kyla Chilbes paced Burroughs' offense, picking up six kills. Chilbes got some help from Alexa Santiago and her 15 assists. Jordyn Phillips controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Burroughs is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Taft, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Burroughs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Santa Clarita Christian on the 12th. As for Taft, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Quartz Hill on the 12th.
