Franklin is 2-8 against Bear Creek since October of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. After each having a week off, the two teams will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Meanwhile, Bear Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by Stagg 42-8.
Bear Creek didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Oscar Suarez. He is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last six games he's played.
Franklin now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Bear Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
