Centennial put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the West Mesa Mustangs as Centennial made off with a 21-3 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-4 on Saturday.

Stevie Jimenez made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off one hit. Jimenez was even better at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aaliyah Betancourt, who fired off two home runs, seven RBI, and three runs while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Duncan, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Centennial was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .700. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

Centennial's win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for West Mesa, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Centennial has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Carlsbad on the 21st. As for West Mesa, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-3 defeat against Volcano Vista on the 19th.
