Valley View took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Wallenpaupack Area, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cougars narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Buckhorns 2-1. The win was familiar territory for Valley View, who have now won three matches in a row.

Braden Loff and Jagger Roe scored both of Valley View's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Valley View now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Wallenpaupack Area, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6-1.
