Basketball Recap: South Prairie/Max Comes Up Short

South Prairie/Max was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost to the Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers at home by a 67-50 margin. South Prairie/Max was not able to make up for their defeat to Des Lacs-Burlington from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

South Prairie/Max's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Des Lacs-Burlington, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-10.

Looking ahead, South Prairie/Max will venture away from home to challenge Stanley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stanley will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something South Prairie/Max surely won't give up without a fight. As for Des Lacs-Burlington, they will take on Nedrose at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
