Fort Dorchester needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from Maricious Dawson. The Fort Dorchester Patriots snuck past the Easley Green Wave with a 62-57 win on Friday thanks in part to Dawson, who went 10 for 14 on his way to 24 points in addition to eight boards and five assists. Those 24 points gave him a new career-high.

Rj Stack and Ethan Crews certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Stack went 9 of 19 on his way to 20 points and seven rebounds, while Crews posted 18 points and seven rebounds. The matchup was Crews' eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Ramey, who had three points and six rebounds.

Fort Dorchester pushed their record up to 4-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points per game. As for Easley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-3.
