Soccer Recap: Alhambra Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Alhambra, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They never let the Los Altos Conquerors onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Saturday. The Moors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Conquerors, too.

Alhambra's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4-1. As for Los Altos, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-3-1.

Alhambra will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against San Marino at 4:00 p.m. Alhambra's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Los Altos, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-2 draw against Diamond Bar on the 10th.
