Basketball Recap: Waterloo Beats Triad for Their Fourth Straight Win

Waterloo hadn't done well against Triad recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Waterloo Bulldogs walked away with a 57-47 win over the Triad Knights. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Waterloo to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alex Stell, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine boards. Stell's evening made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Devilder, who posted 12 points.

Waterloo's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Triad, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Waterloo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-41 win against Mehlville on the 10th. As for Triad, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 63-48 loss against Jacksonville on the 7th.
