While Nixa won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Lebanon came up short against Ozark on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 25-10.

Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12-1. As for Nixa, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.
