Soccer Recap: Stonewall Jackson Comes Up Short

Stonewall Jackson lost against Madison County back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Generals lost 3-0 to the Mountaineers. Stonewall Jackson have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Stonewall Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Madison County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3-1.

Looking ahead, Stonewall Jackson will challenge Page County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Stonewall Jackson are facing Page County at the right time seeing as Page County are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Madison County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rappahannock County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Madison County will be up against Rappahannock County's rather soft defense (which has allowed five goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
