Baseball Recap: Allen Takes a Loss

Allen was the 4-0 winner over Rock Hill when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Allen Eagles fell just short of the Rock Hill Blue Hawks by a score of 9-8 on Wednesday.

Allen has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9-1 record this season. The win (which was Rock Hill's third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Allen will square off against Plano at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rock Hill will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Heritage at 1:00 p.m. on April 12th.
