            Football Recap: Killeen Kangaroos vs. Temple Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            
Killeen played a tough  game  on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt  a  42-12 defeat at the hands of the Temple Wildcats. The Kangaroos haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.
  Cavalli Nealy was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 190 yards and two  scores while picking up 10.0 yards per carry for Temple. Nealy's rushing production has been exceptional  recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 118  rushing yards.  Byron Crittendon was another key back, rushing for 87 yards and a pair of  touchdowns.
Killeen's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Temple, their  victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-2.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Killeen will  face off against  rival Midway  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Temple is set to  take on  their familiar foe Bryan  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
