ED White is 0-3 against Baker County since April of 2017 but things could change on Wednesday. The Commanders will face off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. ED White is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3 runs per game this season.

ED White took a 15-run defeat the last time they faced off against First Coast, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Commanders had just enough and edged out the Buccaneers 4-2.

Austin Reyes spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Nathan LaRosa, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted over his last 12 games. Dylan De Leon also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Baker County's offense. They came up short against Tattnall Square Academy on Thursday, falling 10-0.

ED White's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Baker County, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11.

ED White's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's matchup. The Commanders have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 7.2 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Baker County, though, as they've been averaging only 1.1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will ED White continue to outrun the ball?

ED White couldn't quite get it done against Baker County in their previous meeting back in March as they fell 8-4. Can the Commanders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
