Basketball Recap: Ellendale Takes a Loss

Ellendale lost against Oakes back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Ellendale Cardinals were dealt a 69-36 loss at the hands of the Oakes Tornadoes.

Ellendale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Oakes, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ellendale will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lisbon at 7:30 p.m. on December 30th. Oakes will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Napoleon at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
