Volleyball Recap: Caldwell Takes a Loss

Caldwell and Ingalls squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Caldwell had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14.

Ella Risley paced Caldwell's offense, picking up five kills. Risley got some help from Ava Newell and her three assists. Kennedy Lowery controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Caldwell's defeat dropped their record down to 16-19. As for Ingalls, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Caldwell nor Ingalls have any future games scheduled.
