The Ryle Raiders will take on the Boone County Rebels at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Ryle is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.

Ryle fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Milan on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 9-8. The loss continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost three in a row.

Kiley Patterson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kam Patterson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boone County). They blew past Frankfort 18-6 on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Rebels as they're now sitting on three straight.

Boone County's victory bumped their record up to 3-12. As for Ryle, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-1.

Ryle took their win against Boone County in their previous matchup on April 2nd by a conclusive 10-1 score. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rebels turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
