 Monticello is still looking for their season's first win. They lost  19-4 to the North Sevier Wolves on Friday. One positive for Monticello, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
 Monticello saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Taylor Barry, who  went 1-for-2 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 On North Sevier's side, they let  Brinzie Ekker and  Chloe Malmgren loose on the outfield. Ekker  went 2-for-2 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs, while  Malmgren  went 2-for-2 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and a  triple.  Paisley Roberts was another key contributor,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, a  triple,  and  an  RBI.
 Monticello's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for North Sevier,  the  victory  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 7-15.
 Monticello will stay at home for another  game and welcome Gunnison Valley at 2:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. North Sevier does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
