Football Game Preview: Ross Little Giants vs. Napoleon Wildcats

The Ross Little Giants will take on the Napoleon Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Ross sitting on three straight wins and Napoleon on five.

On Friday, everything came up roses for Ross against Springfield as the team secured a 48-14 victory. The result was nothing new for the Little Giants, who have now won three contests by 34 points or more so far this season.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Napoleon and Bowling Green meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Wildcats strolled past the Bobcats with points to spare, taking the game 19-3. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wildcats' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 184th, while the Bobcats are ranked 437th).

Napoleon's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Ross, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Ross didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Napoleon in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, but they still walked away with a 26-20 win. Will the Little Giants repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
