Alexis Neufind made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and six unearned) runs off ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with a triple, two RBI, and a run. South Sioux City's loss dropped their record down to 4-23. As for Mercy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-18.
