Basketball Recap: Gladstone Comes Up Short

Gladstone lost against Crook County back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Gladstone Gladiators came up short against the Crook County Cowboys, falling 65-45. While losing is never fun, the Gladiators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 165th, while the Cowboys are ranked 36th).

Gladstone has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Crook County, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-6.

Gladstone will face off against Madras at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Crook County, they will square off against The Dalles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
