Soccer Game Preview: Syracuse vs. Weber

The Syracuse Titans will head out to take on the Weber Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Syracuse is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last ten games.

Syracuse barely beat Layton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Titans were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Lancers on Thursday. Jocee Eddy was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Weber faced Davis in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Warriors narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Darts 2-1.

Weber's lineup was just a bit different on Thursday as Kallie Wallace got a bit more time on the pitch (80 vs. her season average of 46.7). Wallace made the most of the opportunity, putting up one assist A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

Syracuse's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Weber, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Syracuse beat Weber by a goal in their previous meeting back in September, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
