Volleyball Recap: San Juan Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Fans were treated to a battle of the Broncos on Tuesday. San Juan were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Kirtland Central. The win was familiar territory for San Juan, who have now won three matches in a row.

San Juan not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Kirtland Central between 16 and 19 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19, 25-17.

Morgann Mcpherson paced San Juan's offense, picking up 20 kills. Mcpherson got some help from Keezie Flannery and her 28 assists. Flannery was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

San Juan's victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

San Juan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Kanab on the 22nd. As for Kirtland Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Navajo Prep on the 21st.
